Virtek IRIS Paint
3D Laser Projection for Defect Visualization and Paint Inspection
Laser projection for visualization of flaw locations directly onto the vehicle for faster, more accurate repairs and quality assurance in automotive manufacturing.

VIRTEK IRIS PAINT
Virtek IRIS Paint uses Vision Positioning System ( VPS) to visualize the location of paint flaws post automated inspection process. A laser-line will highlight the flaw and guide the operator for immediate re-work.

Enhanced Productivity
Utilize Virtek’s high-visibility Vision Positioning System (VPS) to project flaw locations directly onto the part, significantly reducing processing times.
The IRIS Paint software offers a defect visualization process, specifically tailored for paint inspection. By projecting flaw locations directly onto the vehicle enhancing productivity by significantly reducing processing times.
This precise laser projection ensures that paint technicians can quickly identify issues, allowing for faster workflow and minimizing downtime.

Seamless Traceablity
Easily identify defects with laser-highlighted precision, streamlining the workflow for paint repair specialists and ensuring efficient defect resolution.
With laser-highlighted precision, defects are easily spotted and resolved, streamlining the entire repair process. Additionally, the system records dispositions at each stage, ensuring 100% traceability, so no defect is overlooked.
This leads to more efficient defect resolution and a higher-quality end product.

Elevated Product Quality
Virtek’s VPS system records dispositions at each step, guaranteeing 100% traceability and minimizing the likelihood of defects escaping detection.
The VPS integrates automatic CAD alignment, overlaying defect locations for precise targeting. As parts enter the rework cell, the system receives the identification number, part type, and defect list.
The CAD system loads and displays the defects in a butterfly view. With automatic self-monitoring, VPS compensates for thermal and physical drift, ensuring continued accuracy. Multiple VPS systems can be utilized together to provide full coverage of the vehicle.
