The Challenge
The paint-masking application can be a very lengthy process, it can take two to three shifts. In the case where it's a complex paint scheme. Embraer has to reapply that mylar again because the colors are stacked on top of one another.
The Solution
The vision system accurately projects a 3D virtual laser template onto the aircraft to guide operators through the paint - masking process, or other applications such as part fabrication, assembly, component placement etc.
